Bait with live herring, eels and chunk herring
Drifting with sand or blood worms and eels
Trolling with downriggers and planerboards
Usually all of the techniques will be used during the trip. The river conditions will determine what fishing techniques to use to produce the most fish. The changing river conditions to watch for are water temp, incoming tide, slack tide, outgoing tide, and weather.
